An Italian classic with a Japanese twist. Today we’re making Udon Carbonara (Fusion Style) — a traditional Italian dish reimagined with Japanese udon noodles. Creamy, comforting, and ready in minutes.

🛒 INGREDIENTS (Serves 2):
200 g udon noodles (1 pack)
100 g @dorsognasmallgoods streaky bacon, diced
2 egg yolks
30 g Parmesan or pecorino, finely grated
1 garlic clove, minced
Black pepper, to taste
Furikake, for topping
👩🍳 STEP-BY-STEP:
Cook the udon according to the packet instructions, drain and set aside.
Fry the bacon until crispy, add garlic and sauté briefly.
Whisk egg yolks, cheese, and black pepper in a bowl.
Toss the hot udon in the bacon pan, remove from heat, and stir in the egg mixture until creamy.
Add a splash of pasta water if it gets too thick.
Finish with extra cheese, freshly cracked pepper, and a sprinkle of furikake.
Two cultures, one delicious plate. Save it for later or send it to the person who should cook it for you.
