Did you know the D'Orsogna Sopressa?

It’s a traditional Italian-style salami from northern Italy, known for its large diameter, firm texture and rich flavour. It’s made from coarsely ground Australian pork with spices like peppercorns and garlic.

🛒 INGREDIENTS (Makes 12):

  • 12 slices D'Orsogna Premium Artisan Sopressa salami

  • Cherry tomatoes, finely chopped

  • Fresh basil, chopped

  • Bocconcini, torn or halved

  • Balsamic glaze, to finish


👩‍🍳 STEP BY STEP:

  1. Shape the baskets: Press each slice of Sopressa into a muffin tray to form little cups.

  2. Bake until crisp: Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes until crunchy. Let them cool slightly so they hold their shape.

  3. Fresh filling: Toss the chopped tomatoes and basil together.

  4. Assemble: Fill the salami baskets with the tomato mix, top with bocconcini, then finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.


Crunchy, fresh, salty and creamy in one bite.
