Ham & Ricotta Cappelletti

Cappelletti means “little hats” in Italian and we’ve swapped the pasta dough for D’Orsogna Premium Ham. Light, flavourful, and ready in minutes — it’s Italian comfort with a tasty twist.




🛒 INGREDIENTS (Serves 2):


  • 200g @dorsognasmallgoods Premium Ham (about 2 packs, round slices work best)

  • 150g ricotta

  • 1 tbsp chopped chives (or ciboulette)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Tomato sauce, grated Parmesan, and fresh basil to serve



👩‍🍳 STEP-BY-STEP:


  1. Mix the filling: Combine ricotta, chives, salt, and pepper in a bowl.


  2. Shape the hats: Place a teaspoon of filling in the centre of each ham slice, fold into a semicircle, then twist the corners to create the “little hat” shape.


  3. Keep them in place: Arrange in a mini muffin tray so they hold their form.


  4. Bake to perfection: 180°C for 10 minutes until firm.


  5. Serve & enjoy: Plate with warm tomato sauce, Parmesan, and basil.



No pasta, no problem — just pure Italian-inspired comfort food.
