Sandwich de milanesa!
Ever had a schnitzel in a sandwich? This is a Milanesa Sandwich — a kind of schnitzel inspired by the 🇮🇹 Italian cotoletta alla milanese, reimagined in Tucumán, Argentina — big, bold, and gloriously messy.

🛒 INGREDIENTS (Serves 2 hungry legends):
Thin beef steaks
2 eggs, 2 garlic cloves, chopped parsley, 1 tsp mustard
Day-old bread (for homemade breadcrumbs)
@dorsognasmallgoods triple smoked ham
Your fave melty cheese
2 eggs (for frying)
Lettuce & tomato slices
Mayonnaise & mustard
Olive oil, chilli flakes, smoked & sweet paprika (for spicy sauce)
Oil for frying
Large bread rolls
👨🍳 STEP-BY-STEP:
Blitz your day-old bread for fresh breadcrumbs.
Beat eggs with garlic, parsley, mustard, salt & pepper.
Pound steaks thin, soak in egg mix, crumb well.
Fry till golden and crunchy.
In a pan, sizzle ham, cheese & crack an egg on top — let it all melt into a glorious mess.
Make chilli oil: heat olive oil and stir in chilli flakes, smoked & sweet paprika.
Stack it up: mayo, mustard, spicy oil, 6 crispy schnitzels, lettuce, tomato, and that cheesy ham-egg bomb.
Not just a sandwich — this is Tucumán pride on a plate.
