Crispy on the outside, juicy in the middle, loaded with cheddar, caramelised onions, and a golden-fried egg. Proof that when the ham is this good, it deserves to be the hero of an easy recipe you will come back to again and again.

🛒 INGREDIENTS
Burger buns
Mayonnaise
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Thick cut @dorsognasmallgoods Champagne Leg Ham rounds
Cheddar cheese slices
1 egg
Onions, thinly sliced
Ketchup
Mustard
👩🍳 STEP BY STEP
Lightly toast the burger buns until just golden.
Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the thick ham rounds like burger patties until caramelised and golden on both sides.
Add cheddar on top of the ham and let it melt while still in the pan.
In the same pan, cook the onions low and slow until deeply caramelised.
Fry the egg until crispy around the edges with a runny yolk.
Build your HAMburger with mayo, lettuce, tomato, cheesy ham patties, caramelised onions, fried egg, ketchup and mustard. Close, press gently and dig in.
