Fried Ham & Cheese Ravioli

Have you ever imagined making homemade ravioli this easily? Well, these Fried Ham & Cheese Ravioli are even better… crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and bursting with flavour.


🛒 INGREDIENTS (Serves 4):


For the dough

  • 200 g plain flour

  • 50 ml olive oil

  • 1 egg


For the filling


For the béchamel

  • 50 g butter

  • 50 g plain flour

  • Milk (enough to reach a thick, creamy consistency)


For seasoning

  • Nutmeg

  • Paprika

  • Salt & pepper



👩‍🍳 STEP-BY-STEP:


  1. Make the dough: Mix flour, oil, and egg until smooth. Rest for 30 mins.


  2. Cook the béchamel: Melt butter, whisk in flour, then slowly add milk until thick. Season with nutmeg, paprika, salt, and pepper.


  3. Mix the filling: Combine béchamel, ham, and caramelised onion.


  4. Shape the ravioli: Roll out the dough, cut circles, spoon in filling, and seal tightly.


  5. Fry until golden: Heat oil and fry until crispy and golden brown. Drain on a paper towel.



Serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce and enjoy these irresistible bites!
