Cheesy Crispy Tasty Sticks

Try this snack at your next get-together. It will disappear in less than a minute. Made with @dorsognasmallgoods Spicy Tasty Sticks, these beauties are golden, melty, and packed with smoky flavour. The ultimate snack: crunchy on the outside and oozing with cheese inside.




🛒 INGREDIENTS


  • White sandwich bread, crusts removed

  • Cheddar cheese slices

  • @dorsognasmallgoods Spicy Tasty Sticks

  • 2 eggs, beaten (for egg wash)

  • Breadcrumbs

  • Oil for shallow frying

  • Ketchup, mustard and mayo to serve



👩‍🍳 STEP BY STEP


  1. Flatten bread slices with a rolling pin.


  2. Place a cheddar square in the centre and brush edges with beaten egg.


  3. Add a D’orsogna Spicy Tasty Stick and wrap it up to form a stick shape.


  4. Dip in egg wash and coat with breadcrumbs.


  5. Shallow-fry until golden and crisp.
